Earlier this week, the U.S. Maritime Administration (Marad) released its Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the federal Small Shipyard Grant Program. The $8.75 million available in this round may be applied for by privately owned shipyards for new capital projects or certain workforce training projects.
