They say there’s a trade show for every industry, and looking through the list of Trade Show Executive’s Gold 100 Award winners, it’s easy to see why. You’ll find events that focus on everything from hematology to cattle to car washes, demonstrating the truth and depth of that aphorism.

What you’ll also find on this list is the International WorkBoat Show, which is proof of the show’s impact outside of the maritime industry. It’s recognition of the fact that the WorkBoat Show is the go-to event for commercial vessel owners, operators, and builders who are seeking the tools and connections that will propel their businesses forward.

That impact is important to recognize because it’s not just about the show’s appearance on this list in the present. You can look back ten years and also find the show on the list, but you’ll also see how many have fallen off over the past decade. Events at this level look and feel as if they’ll be around forever, but these lists prove that isn’t the case.

The events that endure have made a commitment to evolving with their audiences and industries, and that’s something you can specifically find at the WorkBoat Show. You can see it with the connection to Underwater Intervention as well as an expansion of conference programming, which will showcase the latest advancements propelling the maritime industry forward. The Workboat Conference program will feature dynamic presentations, engaging panel discussions, and hands-on demonstrations, providing attendees with a sense of the innovations that are shaping the future of maritime operations. These initiatives and special events like the Maritime Breakfast, the Significant Boats Awards and Maritime Throwdown have further helped to define WorkBoat Show’s importance to attendees of all types.

Whether or not WorkBoat Show will be specifically honored at the Gold 100 Awards Gala is something we’ll find out in September, but you have to like the odds since it’s stacked up against shows like the International Surface Event and the International Sign Expo. Of course, the event is also sharing the spotlight with shows like the Sweets & Snacks Expo and SUPERZOO, so it’s anyone’s game.

You don’t need to head to Santa Barbara in September to find out though. Just make sure to join us in New Orleans in November, when we’ll be able to tell you how all of that shook out. Even better, you’ll also be able to see and experience why the WorkBoat Show has been a catalyst for industry progress over the years and will continue to shape the sector for decades to come.
