SAFE Boats, Bremerton, Wash., brought the company’s newest 3812 full cabin fireboat to this year’s International WorkBoat Show.
The 39’2”x12’ aluminum hulled vessel is powered by quad 350 hp Yamaha 4.2L V6 Offshore outboard engines. That system produces a top speed of 55 knots, with a fuel capacity of 400 gals.
SAFE Boats highlighted additional features on the vessel, such as their XDR-2 collar system, sandblasted walking surfaces, an upgraded SeaDek inside cabin, Shock-mitigating SHOX flip-up bolster seating at positions 1, 2, 4, and a Mase VS 15.6DV variable speed diesel generator.
Firefighting capacities include a Darley LSDE1000 fire pump with GMC 4.3L V6 engine, pushing out 1000 gals. per minute. In search operations, the vessel contains an ACR RCL-100 LED remote searchlight, 220,000 candelas and FRC Spectra LED spot/flood lights located forward, port, starboard, and aft.
The vessel features a Raymarine navigation and camera system, a FLIR thermal camera system, a gas particulate air filtration system, and a Laurus radiation detection system. All accessories listed are as built, though the shipbuilding company noted they have additional options available.
