Subsea 7 signed a three-year strategic partnership with Talos Energy to provide commercial solutions for subsea engineering, construction and installation projects in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.
Under the agreement, the companies will work together early in the design and development phases to advance EPCI opportunities. By collaborating from the start, Subsea 7 and Talos Energy aim to turn concepts into robust and reliable solutions that accelerate field development.
“We are excited to work closely with Talos to deliver offshore engineering solutions across the full energy lifecycle from concept to operations to decommissioning,” said Craig Broussard, vice president for Subsea7 U.S.
Broussard said the partnership enables the companies to approach projects with an open perspective to develop optimal solutions. He said engaging early on will lead to a better understanding of project drivers, costs and capacity needs to ensure predictable and successful project delivery.
The three-year strategic alliance allows Subsea 7 and Talos Energy to collaborate on ways to progress opportunities through integrated subsea engineering, construction and installation. Both companies expressed enthusiasm over the potential to combine expertise and create offshore solutions from the outset.
